১. Introduction

Shopin ("we", "us", "our") operates the ecommerce platform available at shopin.bd and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when merchants, their staff, and end customers use Shopin.

২. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, shop name, login credentials.
• Business data: products, orders, customers, payment and delivery settings you configure on your store.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs for security and performance.
• Analytics: aggregated usage metrics when you enable platform or store analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel).

৩. Google services & OAuth

When you connect third-party services through Shopin (for example Google Ads), we use OAuth to access only the data you authorize. For Google Ads, we may read campaign and account information to display it in your Shopin dashboard. We do not sell your Google account data to third parties. You can disconnect Google Ads at any time from your Shopin Marketing settings.

Google's use of data is also governed by Google Privacy Policy.

৪. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Shopin platform.
• Process orders, payments, and subscriptions on behalf of merchants.
• Send service-related notifications (account, billing, security).
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Comply with applicable laws in Bangladesh.

৫. Data sharing

We share data only when necessary: with payment gateways (bKash, Nagad, etc.), courier partners, cloud hosting providers, and other integrations you enable for your shop. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

৬. Data retention & security

We retain account and shop data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward. We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, secure hosting) to protect data. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

৭. Your rights

Merchants may access, update, or delete much of their data through the Shopin dashboard. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at support@shopin.app or filo.bangladesh@gmail.com.
